At Pirate camp we will be learning about pirates, talking like pirates and we have STEM challenges planned, making treasure maps, with ships to learn about and play in, and some fun surprises, treasure slime and more sensory bins for hands-on learning!
We are going to build simple and more complicated projects while learning about circuits, create a small robot, make our own battery, learn about squishy circuits and finally a robotic car. Each day will build on itself. Children should be present for all 3 days to get the most out of the experience but you can sign up for individual days.

Each day we will explore different monster legends and we have paired hat with some epic survival skills. Camp Legend is a unique experience designed for children from rising 1st to 7th grades. On their journey toward becoming monster experts, campers learn all about the legends from around the world, some geography and map reading skills, survival skills like making a snare and creating a adventure bag full of all the things you need in the woods, myths, storytelling and more–all with the goal of unleashing the monster expert inside them.
This is our second year of Dinosaur camp and we are changing up the activities. There is so much to discover about Dinosaurs! If your child participated last year we would love to have them return!

Each day we will explore a science concept through messy experiments and science projects! This year Science camp is covering the wonders of the earth! Monday, July 14, Tuesday, July 15, Wednesday. July 16 and Thursday June 17 for kids 8yrs and up from 9:00am-12:00pm! A snack is provided. Each child will need a water bottle! Monday we are going to learn about plate tectonics and climate. Tuesday we will explore how rocks are form and what causes erosion Wednesday we are going to learn about fossils and cave science Thursday we are going to learn about glaciers and create volcanoes while we learn about what makes a volcano explode!
This fun class is geared toward children ages 4-12 and will feature science, art, and hands on activities to learn about the life cycle of the axolotl. This fascinating creature is unique and an endagered species.
Each day we will explore a different part of life on the beach! This class is for children 4-12yrs old. It will meet once a week at 1pm on Tuesdays starting June 10. Friday, August 1 - Celebrating Reptiles with a reptile tea party!
This class will cover what birds we can find in our area including American Kestrel, Bald Eagles, Barred Owls, Great Horned Owls, Red Tailed Hawk and the Cooper's Hawk. We will focus on a couple different birds each day, learning its call, its preferred habitat, where to spot it and more. At SEER we incorporate hands on learning with sensory activities, science experiments and more! Each day (weather permitting) we will take a short nature walk to look for our birds.
This fun class is geared toward children ages 4-12 and will feature science, art, and hands on activities to learn about the life cycle of the dung beetle. This fascinating insect is a species of beetle that that feed on feces. Some species of dung beetles can bury dung 250 times their own mass in one night.
We will have our regular Messy Makers class on most Saturdays, a whole series of classes during shark week, and kids night out!
